Ceramics for the home

Rustic handmade ceramic mugs which are stacked. The earthy green glaze has variations in colour and texture.
A handmade blue, ceramic bud vase holding a single stem of sweet peas. The blue glaze breaks where it is thin creating variation in colour.
A vintage inspired, handmade ceramic, tapered candle holder. There is a handle and the holder is finished with a rustic oatmeal glaze.
A market stall set up of handmade ceramics. There is a range of products for sale which are displayed on vintage wooden crates and stands. The ceramics are functional and decorated with earth, rustic glazes in blues, greens and neutral colours.

My work is understated, quietly expressive and rooted in traditional craft. Forms are simple and grounded, softly rounded vessels that feel solid and reassuring in the hand. Rather than perfect symmetry, I embrace subtle irregularities that celebrate the making process. These small variations give each piece character and a sense of honesty.

My glazes are a defining feature, the surfaces feel weathered and organic, echoing lichen-covered stone, coastal cliffs, and forest floors. The glaze breaks at the rims and pools near the base, revealing the clay beneath and adding depth and texture.

The small maker’s mark near the foot is a thoughtful detail—discreet yet personal—reinforcing the handmade nature of the work. Overall, my ceramics sit comfortably between functional ware and sculptural object, carrying a calm, timeless quality that invites daily use while rewarding close looking.

A handmade ceramic wax melt burner in a pale grey glaze. There is a tealight inside the burner which is melting handmade, lavender wax melts.
